THE CONSERVATORY. A LANDMARK REBORN!

FIRST APARTMENTS TO BE OCCUPIED THIS MONTH

TROY, NY, June 4, 2007 – The Conservatory at 65 Third Street in downtown Troy will welcome its first apartment residents later this month, according to developers Deane and Jeffrey Pfeil. Vacant since 1989, this magnificent former department store built in 1903 has undergone a comprehensive restoration including façade repairs, re-glazed original windows, new plumbing, heating and electrical systems, a new roof, and a 22-car secure basement parking garage accessed from the alley.

"It's truly rewarding to see this building come alive again. Just having lights on in the apartments at night will give new life to the Third Street corridor and hopefully encourage more people to invest in, live in, and visit downtown Troy", says Deane Pfeil.

Working their way from the fifth floor down, the Pfeils expect to finish all of the apartments by mid-Fall. The entrance lobbies, stairwells, parking garage and common corridors will be completed this month.

Two apartments on the fifth floor are available and will be ready for occupancy by July 1 st . One is 502 (see floor plans and pricing). It has one bedroom, a large office with closet, a storage room, two full baths and lots of northern light. The other is 504 , which has one bedroom, one bath, an office (or small bedroom), and wonderful south views. Both apartments feature beautiful hardwood floors, granite counters, Shaker style maple cabinets, GE stainless steel appliances, undermount stainless steel kitchen sinks, Terestone vanity tops, Toto toilets, Kohler faucets, GE stacking washing machines and gas dryers and many other high quality fixtures.
